FIBEP was VERY visible and active at the 2026 AMEC Global Summit, May 18 through 20 in Dublin, under the theme "Intelligence Applied: Communicator Excellence for the Future." I represented FIBEP on the Copyright in the Age of AI panel, carrying our positioning on the Media Rights Trust Initiative directly into the measurement and evaluation community. The reception was strong, and the door is open for deeper collaboration with AMEC and PDLN members on standards, AI governance, and content rights. The work goes on! |

Ambassadorial Work Across the Industry FIBEP earns its seat at the global table by sending the right people to the right rooms. This quarter, several board members and volunteers are carrying our flag across the industry: Jon Anders Tangnes (Opoint) continues our active engagement with PDLN, at the 2026 conference in Amsterdam. Christophe Dickès(pressrelations) anchors our presence into the IFRRO orbit, where decisions on content reproduction rights and publisher remuneration shape the licensing terrain our members operate in. Magdalena Horanska (NEWTON Media) carries FIBEP's institutional voice across nearly every cross-association exchange we have. Magda will be with Greg Galant (Muck Rack) and Florian Laszlo (OBSERVER GmbH) as we extend our reach to PR in Cannes on 24 June 2026, where FIBEPis a named partner under the theme "Relationship Capital: PR's Power in the Age of AI." Why This Matters Decisions about measurement standards, content licensing, copyright frameworks, and AI governance are being made in rooms most members do not have the bandwidth to attend individually. FIBEPexists to make sure those rooms include a voice that understands what our members actually do, sell, and need protected. A continuous presence across AMEC, PDLN, IFRRO, and ICCO is not four events. It is one strategy. More to come, thank you for entrusting us to represent you. |
