Christophe Dickès is in charge of Media Content and Copyright at a global scale at Onclusive. He works with the publishers and the collective management organizations. He has over twenty years of experience in the world of media monitoring, press review and media evaluation (Press Index, Kantar).
As FIBEP’s VP, he leads the Copyright Commission since 2014 and is recognized in the market as an expert: he has worked with the European institutions on the issue of the European Directive for FIBEP and AMEC. In 2016, he integrated the European Legal 500 GC power list which recognizes the corporate counsel who are driving the legal business forward and identifies an array of the most influential and innovative in-house counsel working in the region. In 2019, he was short listed by the European Counsel Awards (Lexology) in the intellectual property category. Christophe holds a doctorate in Contemporary History and a master degree in Politics and Media. He is a contributor to several media and publications.

Sarah Hamou is responsible for media law, licensing and compliance issues and has been working with pressrelations for three years.
She is legal counselor specializied in international and European law. Her professional path spanned across several countries includes legal practice as well as academic positions. This aligns with her role in media law, a field that often crosses international boundaries due to the nature of media distribution and copyright issues. For the last seven years, she has dedicated herself to media law, copyright and compliance. With pressrelations, she is actively involved in the FIBEP.
Her work extends beyond the legal realm to address contemporary challenges such as disinformation and media literacy in the modern digital age, reflecting her deep engagement with the evolving dynamics of the media industry.
Sarah's educational background includes two Master's degrees in French and German law, with a focus on international and European law.

Florence Gaullier, partner at Vercken & Gaullier Law Firm since April 2009, is specialised in copyright in all traditional sectors (Press and book publishing, Radio, TV, Music, etc.) but also in the digital sector and in IT law (e-commerce, data protection, etc.) at French and European level. She has a very specific knowledge in the collective management of rights and in the media monitoring sector. She is also in particular in charge of data protection compliance audits and assists clients during audits of the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL). She advises and assists several clients in their lobbying actions in France and in the EU, especially AMEC and FIBEP, in all these fields. Her Firm is ranked in the most recognised international law firms rankings for more than ten years (Legal 500, Chambers and Partners, Managing IP, Media Law International, etc.). In 2017, the Firm won the award of “French Copyright Firm of the Year” by Managing IP.
Marie is a counsel in the Intellectual Property practice group of Taylor WessingBenelux and heads the Trademarks, Copyrights and Designs practice in Brussels. Marie has considerable experience in drafting IP and IT contracts, including licence agreements, R&D agreements and confidentiality agreements. Furthermore, Marie is a known litigator and has represented clients in multiple (cross-border) legal proceedings at the Belgian court.

Pierre Fréaud, associate at Magenta Law Firm, specializes in competition law, particularly in the fields of intellectual property and copyright law at a French and EU level. Magenta Law Firm has assisted FIBEP and its members in several cases concerning exclusive agreements imposed by right holders and content publishers.
In his presentation, Pierre will outline the challenges faced by media monitoring organizations in the context of the resurgence of exclusive deals and the levers that competition law offers (and also prohibits) to challenge such deals.
Borut Zajc is a attorney at law who works in the areas of management and reorganization of companies, M&A, contractual commercial law and intellectual property.
He has more than 20 years of experience in the legal profession. He is the co-author of six professional books and the author of more than a hundred professional articles.

As Head of Sales - I’m responsible for planning, developing and implementing commercial strategies based on company objectives reporting directly to the board of directors. I’ve been working in the media monitoring field and at L’ Eco della Stampa since 2003 and my extensive experience in project management, negotiation, market research combined with my ability to eloquently convey complex ideas and excellent instinct for business opportunities, contributed to increase in company , sensitively, annual revenues.
I’m people-person skilled at impressing clients, satisfying customers, developing of new strategies and keeping large multi-dimensional teams working together in the most efficient ways possible. For the last 4 years I also managed, in cooperation with the board of directors, copyright negotiations with the Major Italian Publishers. In my free time I’m piano jazz player, passionate for the nature, especially when it comes to skiing in the winter and scuba diving in the summer.

Theo is license manager at press agency ANP in the Netherlands. There, he is in charge of content sourcing for both editorial staff and ANP Business. This business unit offers various services, including media monitoring, to corporate clients. Theo started his career at Telegraaf Media Group, now part of Mediahuis, where he held various marketing and business development positions and joined several start-ups. For this publisher, he realised the first royalty income from media monitoring and was one of the founders of the collective management organisation. Now at ANP, Theo supports media monitoring activities from the licensing perspective. For ANP, it is important to make good licensing agreements, to be compliant and also to ensure that clients operate compliantly. Theo is a board member of the trade association for media monitoring organisations (BMMO). Theo is married, has three sons, and has a thing for Spain.

Thierry Thijssen is Manager Business Development & Partnerships at Coosto, a leading content and social media marketing tool. Over the past 12 years, Thierry has held various positions within Coosto. Currently, he oversees all data partnerships and spearheads new business development initiatives. Additionally, Thierry is a founding board member of the Dutch branch association for Media Monitoring Organisations (BMMO). In his spare time, he enjoys running and is a passionate music fan.
