FIBEP is excited to announce we have launched a podcast! Media Intelligence Explained is a monthly program hosted by Alicja Bors, Business Development Manager at Softlytic and Identrics CEO, Vladimir Petkov. The pair, along with domain-specific experts, will provide commentary on the latest new media and digital news as well as interviews and analyses. The show provides an excellent opportunity for FIBEP current and potential members and clients to learn more about our exciting industries. 

MEDIA INTELLIGENCE EXPLAINED is an initiative launched by FIBEP's Technical Advisory Commission lead by the FIBEP Tech Portfolio Vice President Sophia Karakeva. Both Vladimir and Alicja are members of the FIBEP Technical Advisory Commission. We look forward to bringing Alicja, Vladimir, and their guest’s unique perspectives to a larger audience of like-minded media professionals.

Alicja Bors started her career as Media Intelligence Specialist at Press-Service.  She is currently a Business Development Manager at technological company Softlytic where she's responsible for identifying, and implementing process and product improvements. She's a social media geek interested in the influence of media on human behaviour. She's a passionate gamer, content creator and a podcaster.

Vladimir's professional path has been some kind related to data and innovation. He has about 6 years of experience in digital media and business development, gained at Economedia, Bulgaria’s top news publisher. After that, he continued his journey at A Data Pro, a global company specialising in content, data and business intelligence services, as a Chief Technology Officer. Since 2016, Vladimir has been CEO at Identrics, and now he is also Chief Data Officer at the newly established business community of Updata One.  
 
Besides his professional life, Vlado is a podcast producer and host and delivers lectures on online business and digital media-related topics at various universities.

Media Analysis - How To Do It Right

In the 4th FIBEP Media Intelligence Explained episode hosts talk with Mazen Nahawi (Founder and Group CEO of Carma and Former FIBEP President) about media analysis. The discussion starts with Mazen talking about the holy trinity within the value chain of media intelligence: media data, media monitoring and finally insights. He explains the difference between a dashboard and insights and who is using each. Furthermore, Mazen shares a three-part process of media analysis: capture and ingestion, enrichment and insights, and each process needs its own team with different skill sets, different leadership and different methodologies. He also explains what he defines as content completeness and how Carma has achieved that, while he reveals what is the secret behind a successful analyst team. Last but not least, Mazen shares his overview of technologies that will shape the media intelligence industry in the coming years.

In the 3rd FIBEP Media Intelligence Explained episode hosts Vladimir Petkov (identrics) and Alicja Bors (Softlytic) are talking with Romina Gersuni (pressrelations Global Strategy Manager and FIBEP VP) about the Media Intelligence Business Ecosystem. Romina guides us through the idea behind MIBE and explains that it is a map tool helping the different actors of the Media Ecosystem find their place, be able to identify key players and prepare for strategic partnerships.
