As a FIBEP member, we will provide you with the unique opportunity to network with other top-level executives and discuss the opportunities and challenges facing the media monitoring and communications industry today.

 

You will also have access to our exclusive Members List; regular newsletters from the Marketing Communications, Fair Trade & Copyright and Business Development Commissions as well as the opportunity to attend our International FIBEP World Media Intelligence Congress, workshops and much more.

To become a FIBEP member, companies are required to go through an application process. We do ask that you carefully read the membership requirements and submit your application with the necessary documentation.

FIBEP MEMBERSHIP

APPLICATION CRITERIA

Render services based on monitoring in at least one of the four categories:

    • Print

    • Radio and TV

    • Online Media

    • Social Media.

  • Have been professionally active for at least two years and be able to show two years corporate history evidence.

  • Have a proven annual turnover of at least €500,000 per annum. The information regarding balance sheets (financial statements) of the company for the past two years will remain confidential (it will only be consulted by the General Secretary).

  • Have been introduced by a FIBEP member.

  • Can provide a real demo of their services for one week, in real conditions.

 

Once your application has been received, it will be examined by our Admissions Commission, which will also consult any current FIBEP members in your country.  If no objections are made, your application will be reviewed by the Executive Committee and you will be given the status of provisional member.

 

As a provisional member you will be required to attend the next FIBEP congress to present your company to the FIBEP General Assembly.  The General Assembly will then vote on your application as to whether your company will receive full membership.

As a Provisional Member the company:

 

  • Will be announced in the FIBEP Newsletter once provisional membership has been paid.

  • Will be listed on the FIBEP members list and FIBEP website.

  • May not publish on their website that they are a FIBEP member until they have been definitively voted upon by the FIBEP General Assembly.

FIBEP SATELLITE MEMBERSHIP

APPLICATION CRITERIA

The conditions for membership are the same as those for a FIBEP Member.  This type of membership is aimed specifically at large member groups, i.e. companies that have offices across more than one region or country.  Those companies that wish to include these additional satellite companies may do so via the following fee structure:

 

  • One main FIBEP membership fee of 1000€ for the parent company.

 

  • Each additional satellite company will pay a fee of 300€ per company.

 

  • The fee structure would be capped at 2500€ (includes parent membership fee of 1000€).

 

  • Each satellite company will have the right to vote during the General Assembly

Associate

FIBEP ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP

APPLICATION CRITERIA

FIBEP Associate Membership is available to media monitoring companies that:

  • do not fulfil the required revenue figure ( turnover of €500.000)

  • have been in operation for less than two years.

All other conditions for eligibility are the same as for a Full membership.

FIBEP TECHNICAL MEMBERSHIP

APPLICATION CRITERIA

Technical Associate Membership is available to:

 

  • Technical Solutions Providers

  • Suppliers

  • Market Companions

 

related to the media monitoring industry.  To become a Technical Associate member a company must:

 

  • Provide to the Admissions Commission a real demo of their services for one week in real conditions.

  • Provide a letter of recommendation from a FIBEP member and/or contract or invoice.

 

Once your application has been received, it will be examined by our Admissions Commission, which will also consult any current FIBEP members in your country.  If no objections are made, your application will be reviewed by the Executive Committee and you will be given the status of provisional member.

  • Can attend one of the following two Congresses to present the company to the FIBEP General Assembly for definitive membership.

  • May not publish on their website that they are a FIBEP member until they have been definitively voted upon by the FIBEP General Assembly.
